Colin Clarke (Director, Screenwriter, Co-producer) was born in Rockford, Illinois, USA. Captivated by the magic of the movies at an early age, he began making films using his dad’s old Super 8mm camera. His first short film, Sandman, was completed in 1994. Dissatisfied with the quality of technology available to home film hobbyists at the time, Clarke taught himself computer animation for 2000’s Gothic superhero short Raven, its 2002 sequel, Raven 2. His stereoscopic 3D mini-film, Frankenstein vs the Wolfman, played film festivals in 2008, while Raven’s Hollow, a Halloween-set, cornfield ghost story garnered worldwide acclaim in 2011. Clarke began working on live-action short horror films in 2013 with the release of Witchfinder, a throwback to period-set horror films of the Hammer Films variety, and most recently Slit (2015), a contemporary homage to the colorful Italian genre of giallo thrillers.
