(Cindy) Zixin Zhang has exhibitions about film, photography, painting and sculpture installation held across the world, including the United States, Spain, China, India etc. In the past, she had experience as the director, writer, editor, cinematographer, art director, gaffer, and grip in the film production groups. She had shot her own feature-length documentary in the Antarctic with the scientific group. Her short film The Bloody Glove Box is released at the end of 2017. The personal video she shot and edited wins her the Best Talent Award in Beijing, China from the votes of tons and thousands of citizens. It was broadcast on one of the most viewed television Beijing BTV Youth Channel. Her short film Time Gaps is selected by GardenCity Film Festival, Shorts-in-Fest, 2016 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival, 2016 Director Circle Festival of Shorts Selection and Aword - Independent Film Festival & Screenplay Contest. Her own short film Library Whim, which is about a peculiar piano experience was broadcast on Chicago’s public access network CANTV(Channel 21). She is also a participant of Until Justice Rolls Down Like Waters, Martin Luther King, Jr. Mural Competition at Hostelling International Chicago, aiming to express social justice and equality. With her background in sculpture, photo, film, and visual language, she believes she could produce more creative and meaningful work in the future.
